From RCIPS 14 December 2018

Officers are currently on the scene of an armed robbery which took place at a business on Crewe Road this evening. Shortly before 6:30pm two males attended the location. One of the men entered the business, brandished a handgun and demanded cash. The men then fled the scene with a quantity of cash. No shots were fired during the incident, however a member of the public recieved minor injuries.

The matter is currently under investigation.
