*Cayman Drama Society is back in full swing, with a production of Funny Money currently in casting and set to hit the stage this summer.
*We are also scheduling a members digital theatre screening (coming soon: members keep an eye on your inbox in the coming weeks to vote on which show we watch, non-members – sign up to join us!).
*A new venture for us is screening for younger audiences. We are currently looking to do a digital theatre screening of productions aimed at age 2-8s for our youngest audience to experience theatre early on. If you are interested in children’s theatre, please join our younger years mail list via [email protected]or [email protected]
*QUIZ NIGHT – if you enjoyed our lockdown quizzes, you are in for a treat, we will be bringing a live one to you this June. Keep your eyes peeled for further info!
ACTING CLASSES ARE BACK THIS WEEK!
Our acting classes return, and we have a couple of spots left to grab! Though our age 13-18s and 7-9s are full, we still have a couple of spots in our age 5-6s, 10-12s, and adults this term so book now at www.cds.ky/classes
Term 2 (10 weeks) Tue 26th April to Thu 30th June 2022 – this is a show term, with performances in the second last week of term (21-23rd June during class time).*scholarships available for those who do not have the means to pay these fees – please get in touch with us for more info*

YOUTH VOLUNTEER REQUIRED!
If you are reliable, friendly, interested in drama, passionate about working with young people, age 16-25, and looking to build up your CV with some volunteer work, we want to hear from you! Our acting classes start back this week, and we are looking to expand our workshop assistant base for our age 5-6 and 7-9 classes (Thursday from 3.25-6pm), and our age 10-12 (Tue 4-5.30). If you have an interest in acting/drama, and working with children, then this could be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! Email [email protected] if you are interested, and tell us a bit about you and what would make you a great workshop assistant for our young actors!
