The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) wishes to advise the public that its annual bulk waste removal activity will conclude in West Bay this Friday, 20 December 2019.

DEH thanks the public for utilising this service which it is pleased to provide. To date DEH has removed over 600 tons of bulk materials from the districts of Grand Cayman and the Sister Islands.

Once the service concludes, DEH asks the public not to put out any more materials either at the side of the road or at any of the temporary district drop off points; as these will no longer be serviced.

After the end date of 20 December, dropping bulk waste at the side of the road could represent an act of littering. After this date, materials can be dropped off at the George Town Landfill or persons can book a grab truck collection service from DEH.

Please call DEH at 949-6696 for additional information regarding its 2019 Bulk Waste Removal activity. Individuals may also send an email to [email protected] or visit DEH’s website at www.deh.gov.ky.
