Cayman: Deadline for Postgrad Courses in Global Finance is 31 Aug. 2020

The deadline to apply to the local Master of Laws (LLM) and Postgraduate Diploma in ‘International Finance: Law and Regulation’ is 31 August 2020.

Both courses are offered on a full and part-time basis with entry in September 2020.

These are work-friendly programmes: all classes take place in the early evening.

The University of Liverpool, a leading UK University, awards the degrees. Successful graduates will have access to professional benefits and opportunities that flow from the attainment of a postgraduate qualification awarded by a top ranked UK tertiary education provider.

These degrees aim to equip students with skills in high demand in the labour market in the Cayman Islands and worldwide.

Topics include financial institutions, banking, international insolvency, trusts, the conflict of laws, public- private partnerships and more.

The programmes are open to Caymanian nationals, residents and international students.

The programmes allow eligible candidates to apply for Cayman Islands Government scholarships.

Mitchell Davies, Law School Director, said: “These postgraduate programmes are unique in the Caribbean, offering qualified candidates the opportunity to earn postgraduate qualifications from a leading UK University from the convenience and safety of the Cayman Islands. The programmes will commence their fourth year of operation, with first successful students graduating last December.”
