Cayman: 2022 garbage fee bills issued

Grand Cayman, February 14, 2022 – The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) is advising all business operators/owners/strata in Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman that garbage fee bills have been generated for the period January to December 2022.

While garbage fees are payable bi-annually in January and July, business operators/owners/strata have the option of paying garbage fees in full in January, they are encouraged to make payments before the June 30, 2022 to avoid any disruption of service. Outstanding accounts will not be recommended by the DEH for approval to either the Tourism Accommodation Licencing Board or the Liquor Licensing Board, for 2022/23 licensing period, unless all arrears are settled. Customers can also contact the DEH to enquiry about payment plans available if necessary.

Garbage fees are payable by cash, cheque, debit or credit card at the DEH’s main office, located at 580 North Sound Road from 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Payments can also be made at any of the local post offices. In the case of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, payments can be made at District Administration office and/or the local post office.

The DEH is also accepting payments in the form of Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT). Details as follows:
