Attempted Break-in to Outdoor Container at George Town Police Station

During the night of Monday, 13 July, person(s) entered the rear yard of the George Town Police Station and broke into a container storing old evidence and drugs awaiting disposal. The building housing evidence and recovered property, however, was not breached. Padlocks on the container were removed. Police have processed the scene and determined that nothing was taken from the container, possibly because the culprit(s) were interrupted by security checks of the grounds.
