Arsonist hiding in Cayman?

James Lyman Hill of New Hampshire is believed to be now hiding in the Cayman Islands after a 1997 incident where he allegedly torched his girlfriend’s house after she broke up with him.

He is wanted by the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Taskforce due to an arrest warrant being issued by the Belknap County Sherriff’s Office for Arson of a Residence.

The public is asked to “Approach with Caution, Do not attempt to apprehend this person yourself. He should be considered armed and dangerous.”

It has also been reported that Hill has faked his own death at least twice in the late 1990s. Once by running a stolen boat aground and another in a car crash.

U.S. Marshall Jeffery White said, “The last confirmed sighting was in Florida but he was known to vacation in the Cayman Islands and we think that’s where he could be now.”

Hill is white, six-feet tall, 200 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair, also  he is known to work as a carpenter or handyman.

If you know the whereabouts of him or have a seen a person that resembles him, please contact the U.S. Marshall Service on 1-877-WANTED-2.
