DEPRESSION STRENGTHENS TO TROPICAL STORM ORLENE SOUTH OF SOUTHWESTERN MEXICO

SYNOPSIS

A few isolated showers are expected to stream across the Cayman area for the next 24 hours as a result of the flow pattern caused by Hurricane Ian as it moves over central Florida. Radar images show isolated showers in and around the Cayman area moving towards the north-northeast. The National Hurricane Center, in Miami Florida is issuing advisories on Hurricane Ian and Tropical Depression Eleven. For more information on these systems, please visit www.nhc.noaa.gov.
