SYNOPSIS

Scattered showers with light to moderate southeasterly winds and seas will continue across the Cayman area for the 24 hours as an upper level cyclone enters the northwest Caribbean and supports localized convection. Radar images show scattered showers in and around the Cayman area moving towards the west. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida is issuing advisories for Hurricane Delta. Hurricane Delta at 4:00 a.m. was located near 26.9 North, 93.7 West or about 200 miles south of Cameron Louisiana with a maximum sustained wind speed of 120 mph and moving towards the north at 12 mph.
