Moderate southeasterly winds and seas with a decrease in showers are expected across the Cayman area for the next 24hrs as Hurricane Idalia makes landfall across northern Florida. Radar images show isolated showers in and around the Cayman area drifting towards the north.

DAY: Sunshine and a few clouds. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. NIGHT:  A few clouds. Winds SE at 10-15 mph.

Sea: Moderate with a wave height of 3 to 5 feet.
