Fresh winds and rough seas are expected to continue for the next 24 hours as the high-pressure system lingers over the eastern United States. An increased chance for showers can be expected from late tonight as an upper-level cyclone retrogresses northwest. Satellite images show patches of shallow low-level clouds across the Cayman area.

Day: Mostly sunny and windy. Winds NE 20-30 mph. Night:  Mostly clear skies early then increasing clouds with some scattered thunderstorms late. NE 10-20 mph.

Sea: Rough with a wave height of 5 to 7 feet. A small craft warning is in effect.
