Fresh to strong winds and rough seas are expected for the next 24 hours as a high-pressure system builds over the eastern United States and tightens the pressure gradient over the northwest Caribbean. Satellite images show scattered to broken multi-layered cloud coverage extending north from the eastern coast of Nicaragua to the northern Honduras.

Day: Windy…isolated thunderstorms during the morning. Partly cloudy skies this afternoon. Winds NNE 20-30 mph. Night:  Partly cloudy skies.  Winds ENE 15-25 mph.
