The Final Curtain came down on Cayman Islands Playwright Colin Wilson as Apostle 13 & the Disciple of Demons was his very last play.

Not only was it his opinion but it also was the general consensus of audiences Wilson’s last play was his best.

Every performance obtained a standing ovation and the whole cast deserved it. The actors were also ably supported by nine dancers from Dance Unlimited.

As one commentator said “It was well worth the $15 admission just to watch the opening dance “Angel”.

The play featured the lives of the two most maligned New Testament figures, Matthias and Mary Magdalene immediately after Jesus’ Ascension up to their deaths.

Four performances were staged at St George’s Anglican Church Hall in October and one in November at The Prospect Playhouse. The encore performance had all the proceeds going to The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association of the Cayman Islands.
