Chamber Offers Business & Immigration Course

Class in session

It becomes increasingly important for business owners to stay abreast of changing Immigration policy to ensure that their organizations are operating within the law and ensuring best practices.  It is precisely for this reason that the Chamber’s Professional Development & Training Centre (PD&TC) continues to offer courses such as “Business & the Immigration Process”.

The Chamber held a half day session in this regard on June 21st, 2012 where eleven persons registered to participate.  Participants learned about recent developments in policies as well as the various requirements of the Immigration Department.   The group also learned relevant information which will assist in decreasing the time to process applications.

“I was impressed with the vast knowledge of the trainer and the information that was provided in this half day course.  The group posed numerous questions to Ms Lois Kellyman, the facilitator, and she was able to address each item very effectively.  I believe it would be beneficial for persons to learn more about the Immigration process through sessions like this one.  It is wonderful that the Chamber of the Commerce seeks to continuously provide the community with such great training opportunities.”
