Cayman Islands police confirm burglaries reported at two schools

Burglaries reported at two primary schools this week

The RCIPS has received reports of two break-ins at primary schools this week. On Sunday morning, 30 August, teachers and staff at Savannah Primary School discovered the school had been burglarized the night before, after the premises had been secured following a Uniform sale. A laptop and phone were reported stolen.

Yesterday morning, 1 September, another burglary was reported at George Town Primary School. At about 8AM officers responded to a report that the administrative office had been broken into, and a fax machine valued at $250CI had been stolen as well as several other items. Both scenes were processed by SOCO and CID is investigating.
