Six radio stations honored with dual ‘CMA Awards’ nominations

From All Access Music Group

Six stations lead the nominations for “The 53rd Annual CMA Awards” with two apiece. Stations nominated in both the Station of the Year and Broadcast Personality of the Year categories are: WIL/ST LOUIS; KCYY/SAN ANTONIO; WQDR/RALEIGH; WIVK/KNOXVILLE; KKNU/EUGENE, OR; and WBYT/SOUTH BEND, IN. Also of note, both Country stations in INDIANAPOLIS (CUMULUS’ WFMS and EMMIS’ WLHK) will compete head-to-head (along with four other nominees), in the large market station category. There’s a second in-market battle in the Large Market Broadcast Personality category, where shows from rivals KAJA (iHEARTMEDIA) and KCYY (COX MEDIA GROUP) will compete.
