On the Caribbean coast, a lizard messiah

Thanks to Kristel Segeren for this image from Cahuita National Park on Costa Rica’s southern Caribbean coast: she came across a green basilisk lizard, also known as a Jesus Christ lizard because of its amazing ability to run atop the water.
