MEDIA STATEMENT: Privy Council judgment on Britannia owners’ rights
From DART
Cayman Shores Development Limited (CSDL) acknowledges the decision of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in the longstanding legal matter concerning the Britannia property.
The outcome, following differing decisions from both the Cayman Islands Grand Court and Court of Appeal, highlights the complex and unique circumstances that have surrounded this case for many years.
CSDL respects the Privy Council’s judgment and thanks the Court for its careful consideration of the issues. We also express our appreciation to all parties involved for the time, energy and commitment dedicated throughout the legal process.
CSDL remains committed to engaging constructively with the Britannia owners and looks forward to productive and collaborative dialogue to understand and discuss what the decision means for them and their community moving forward.

Guessing it means for them exactly what the court ruled, but that’s a guess.
