A school’s growth spurt, an exciting new cultural festival and another view of health insurance changes are features headed your way on GIS Spotlight, the week starting Monday, 11 March 2013.

Sir John A Cumber Primary School has grown impressively over the years in student numbers, as well as in infrastructure and academic qualifications. Join us to catch the official opening of the school’s new, two-storey, 10,710 sq. ft. block, which houses eight spacious classrooms each with its own restroom, storeroom and interactive ‘white board’.

Learn about the new international certification the school has earned that guarantees the quality of the enquiry-based education which it imparts to students.

Next, we take you to the Harquail Theatre to enjoy Red Sky at Night, the newest offering from Cayman National Cultural Foundation (CNCF) that recently drew hundreds of persons young and old to the grounds of the theatre. Take in the different activities and sights at the popular event. Leap into action on a catboat and hear about plans for further events.

Finally, we revisit important health insurance changes that impact all in the Cayman Islands. Hear from officials about the new changes to the law and what you need to know to make informed decisions about your health insurance.

Produced by GIS Marketing and Communications, GIS Spotlight focuses on government services and solutions regarding issues that concern and affect you. The weekly programme airs Mondays on CIGTV, on Cable Channel 20, after 7 pm; and on Cayman27 at 8.30 pm on Tuesdays, and 6 pm on Saturdays.
