SYNOPSIS

Isolated showers with moderate to fresh northeasterly winds and seas will continue across the Cayman area for the next 24 hours in association with the tightening of the pressure gradient over the Western Caribbean and the passage of a tropical wave. The wave is currently over the Cayman area moving west. Radar images show isolated showers in and around the Cayman area which are moving towards the west to southwest. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm ETA., Which at 4 a.m. was located 15.2 N 75.7 W with maximum winds of 40 mph and is moving West at 15 mph.
