Someone actually returned their sandwich because it wasn’t cut equally

BY JOHNNY LIEU From Mashable

Yes, there are some of us out there who are mad picky about how our food is served.

After all, you’ve handed over your hard-earned cash and expect the whole thing won’t be a complete mess, or at the very least, contains the extra avocado you paid for.

But not getting your sandwich cut equally? Well, we’re going to go out on a limb and say it’s perhaps a bit fastidious, as in this case in Australia.

Corowa RSL CEO Peter Norris told ABC News a sandwich was sent back by “a bingo lady, in her eighties” to the café’s staff — because one side was slightly wider than the other.

Norris used a ruler and a marker to check each side, and lo and behold, the cut wasn’t precisely down the middle. “We laughed at it, but you know, the customer was right,” he told the news outlet.

The customer didn’t ask for a refund though, but was fine with a new roll to be made up. Fair enough, we guess.

IMAGE: The club posted the image of said roll on its Facebook page. – Close but not close enough – the girls were 5mm off a direct centre cut yesterday. This was brought back as a legitimate complaint + the roll was replaced.
For those who have worked in hospitality you will understand the randomness – if you can’t have a laugh life will be pretty dull!
