Cayman Islands to play host to UK’s Chef Clare Smyth

Grand Cayman to play host to Chef Clare Smyth, the UK’s most acclaimed female chef during a 10-day pop-up dining experience

Highlights include the annual Slow Food Day dinner, intimate dining experiences at Kimpton Seafire and an extravagant finale dinner prepared in Chef Clare’s unique style.

Visitors to and residents of Grand Cayman will have the opportunity to enjoy Michelin-starred level cuisine this April as Chef Clare Smyth, MBE, hosts a series of pop-up culinary experiences at the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa and Camana Bay. Chef Clare, the UK’s most acclaimed female chef and the only female chef to retain three Michelin stars in London will open her highly anticipated restaurant in Notting Hill this summer.

Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa is the stage for a series of intimate dining experience featuring Chef Clare and Seafire’s chefs Massimo DeFrancesca, Remy Lefebvre and Thomas Zimmerman. Events include a four-course dinner for 10 in Seafire’s luxurious Presidential Suite, tasting dinners at Avecita’s chef’s counter, a dinner under the stars at one of Seafire exclusive beachfront bungalows and a sunset cocktail cruise.

At Camana Bay, Chef Clare joins Abacus’ head chef Will O’Hara for a farm-to-table feast at the annual Slow Food Day Harvest Dinner at Camana Bay.

The finale promises to be an all-star culinary event with a five-course gala dinner featuring fresh local produce as well as the finest ingredients from across the globe all paired with wines carefully selected by Seafire’s team of sommeliers.

Chef Clare’s pop-up in paradise is a partnership between Dart Real Estate, Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, The Cayman Islands Government Office in the UK and the Nth Degree, a London-based Global Dining Club founded by Robert Walton, MBE, the president of the UK Restaurant Association.
