The Cayman Islands Football Association conducted the first CONCACAF Women’s Football Day activity by hosting a tremendously successful and inspiring Women’s Football Forum on Thursday, May 21 at the Harquail Theatre. The evening featured two panels, moderated by acclaimed sports broadcaster Ann Schatz, and was attended by over 80 individuals interested in women’s football.

Panel 1, The Girls and Women of Cayman Islands Football, featured the following panelists:

Amanda Nelson, CIFA U20 and Senior Women’s National Team

Kasey Golding, CIFA Girls’ Grassroots Participant

Panel 2, The Past, Present and Future of Women’s Football in Cayman Islands, included the following speakers:

Sharon Roulstone, Chairwoman of Local Organizing Committee for CONCACAF U15 Women’s Championship

Jessica Ebanks, CIFA Senior Women’s National Team Player and Women’s Committee Member

Marsha Eleweanya, FIFA Referee

Gisela Gamba, Cayman Islands Football Coach

The entire evening served as a motivational event for girls and women who are interested in being involved in women’s football.
