Ultimate Christmas trip

Is this the ultimate Christmas trip? Holiday includes stays at world’s most festive hotels – but it will set you back £45

ByJulie Delahaye From Daily Mirror UK

Just wait until you see the gingerbread pirate ship

Talk about the Christmas holiday of a lifetime! One luxury travel company has created the festive itinerary of our dreams – but unfortunately the price tag isn’t quite as enticing!

VeryFirstTo.com is offering up ‘The Ultimate Christmas Decorations Trip’ which offers a tour of the world’s top 10 most glamorous hotels offering up spectacular festive decorations.

Think gigantic trees, millions of lights, and even a pirate ship made entirely from gingerbread.

It sounds utterly incredible – but if you want to go on this once-in-a-lifetime, you’ll need to fork out £45,000.

Not quite within our Christmas budget.

Luxury travel specialists Hurlingham Travel are behind the 18-day extravaganza which includes stops at the world’s top luxury hotels across the USA, Cayman Islands and Europe such as the Plaza, Claridge’s, and Ritz-Carlton.

And in a charitable Christmas gesture, a donation of £1000 will be made to The Prince’s Trust charity should the trip be purchased.

It’s based on a 20th December departure for two people sharing (although children are welcome too and the price will be amended accordingly) – and naturally all of the flights and Eurostar journeys are in Business Class.

As for the hotel stays, guests will be spending the night in the opulent Junior Suites, except for the Grand Cayman, where they will be treated to an Ocean View Room (which sounds equally amazing).

Breakfast and return airport transfers are included – but guests will need to save extra holiday budget for any activities or extra meals.

Then again, if you can afford a £45,000 holiday, we can’t imagine a bit of extra spending money will be a huge problem.

Check out the amazing itinerary below…

2. Mission Inn Riverside, California
