Robbery: Shedden Road RUBIS Service Station, Grand Cayman

At 8:06pm Sunday 26th October 2014, police from the George Town Police Station received a report of a robbery at the Rubis Gas Station on Shedden Road. The complainant told police a man armed with a hand gun, wearing dark clothing a blue hoodie and blue mask entered the premises and stole cash. He is described as approximately 5’ 6” tall and of slim build and spoke with a Caymanian accent.

The accused fled the gas station on foot in the direction of Thomas Russell Way. No injuries were reported. The matter is under investigation by detectives from the Drugs and Serious Crime Task Force and any one near the Rubis gas Station on Shedden Road between 8:00pm and 8:10pm are asked to contact George Town Major Incident Room tip-line 949-7777 or Crime Stoppers on 800 8477(TIPS)

The RCIPS responded to a report of Robbery at the RUBIS Service Station at Shedden Road at about 8:20 Pm on Sunday 26 October 2014. A lone man brandished an object which appeared to be a firearm and robbed the store of cash. He Then escaped on foot.

No shots were fired and no injuries have been reported.

The matter is under investigation by the George Town CID.
