Camana Bay recently launched its new Events App, making it easier and more convenient to have all of the Town Centre’s happenings in the palm of your hand. It features an easy-to-read calendar with listings of regular events such as Culture and Classics at the Cinema, Story Time, Imagination Playground and local favourites like the Flavour Tour and the Farmers & Artisans Market. The app also offers information on Camana Bay’s shops and restaurants, as well as a directory that will help you get around the town.

The Camana Bay Events App offers a convenient way to get real-time updates and detailed information on events happening in the Town Centre. For instance at Taste of Cayman, visitors were able to make the event an interactive experience by viewing a digital map that presented information about what dishes each restaurant served and a schedule of when the musical performances and fireworks occurred.

Upcoming events to be featured on the app include Chalkfest, this year taking place on Saturday, March 31.  Chalkfest will embrace the Easter theme, with a springtime artisans market and a visit from the Easter Bunny! Offering artists of all ages and abilities the chance to decorate the Rise – Camana Bay’s new pedestrian walkway which connects the Town Centre to West Bay Road and Seven Mile Beach – participants stand the chance to win a prize within their age category for their chalk art. Registration takes place at the event and proceeds benefit the National Gallery Outreach Program. Other activities include a live story reading and crafts section. The public will also have the opportunity to vote for their favourite chalk art through the app.
