The woman who died last Friday in a water-related incident in East End can now be identified as Christina Jean Spradling, age 29, from the state of Ohio in the United States.

The RCIPS said a 29-year-old female American tourist was snorkelling with her husband off East End around 5:30 p.m. Friday (26) when she “developed difficulties” and an ambulance was called.

An ambulance was called and the woman was rushed to the George Town hospital. Two hours later she was pronounced dead.

The RCIPS marine unit are investigating.
