Shortly before 9:40PM yesterday, 13 March, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of an attempted robbery on Seven Mile Beach near Lizard Run Drive. Two male juveniles were walking along the beach when they were approached by another male who also appeared to be in his teens. No one was harmed and no personal belongings were taken in the incident. No gun was brandished by the culprit or seen by the victims.

The culprit is described as being a young dark-skinned male. He was wearing a dark-coloured shirt and bright-coloured shorts.
