This gorgeous young calico was found in a trap with sadly nowhere to go. She is now in a foster home and we are very happy to report that she is a very loving , clean and affectionate cat.

She is however still a little timid and afraid of noise and sudden movements, but we are confident that if she is adopted by someone who has experience and patience with shy cats, she will soon blossom. She would do best in a quiet home with no children.

She is about five months old, has been spayed, dewormed, vaccinated and tested negative for feline bULRZAZFfEjZhKHXAGSpgyF7ZG_xbLwIoUEVyQZReZFTdGVCqvxJWItTQ7ie0-Iktzgo8KYwUHbf_bFARhJVruyRDazNg62-Elt1XbTQ2U0-XjM=s0-d-e1-ftviruses.
Her foster family are leaving this week so the pressure is really on to find her a foster or better still a forever home. Please consider giving this unfortunate young cat a chance in life by taking her into your heart & home – we are confident that you will be lovingly rewarded!

To meet and find out more about adopting this little one please contact – Heather on 525-0566 or [email protected]
Please be a voice for those without by passing this e-mail on and help spread the word for this Sweet Calico.

UPDATE: A letter from my foster parents

unnamedHello everyone,

Autumn here checking in and asking for your help so I can find my forever home for the holidays. My very kind foster parents wrote the following letter about me in the hopes that it will find me my forever home for the holidays.

We have been fostering Autumn since she was rescued by CARE in the evening of the 7th October and you will no doubt remember her unfortunate start. Happily this is all in her past and the scarecrow figure introduced to us is now just a memory and her metamorphosis has been incredible. She has increased her weight by 20% to the vet recommended 45lbs and her proper diet has introduced an enviable shine to her coat. The scar on her head has vanished beneath the fur and the wound around her neck is fully healed and is barely discernible and will shortly disappear entirely.

Frequent walks have increased her stamina and she is at the peak of physical fitness although there is still plenty of puppy in her. She is something of an anomaly in that she has no reason to put her trust in people but she does. We have serious doubts about her usefulness as a guard dog in the immediate future, as she welcomes all and sundry into the home. Her tail doesn’t wag, her entire body wags. She is extremely affectionate, so frequent cuddles and belly rubs are a way of life. She is food and treats orientated and consequently she is easily trained. In short, this beautiful animal is the perfect pet and is so ready for adoption. We would love to adopt ourselves but we are only eight months of the year in Cayman and the rest of the time in Europe, which is why we foster whenever we are here.

Frankly we are amazed that she hasn’t been adopted already and this presents us with an upcoming problem. We have arranged to visit our family in the UK and whilst our dream situation would be to see Autumn find her forever home before we leave Cayman on the 17th December, we realize this may be unlikely and therefore, our plea is for alternative fosters to help us during this time or perhaps you might be interested in a foster to adopt situation. She is very adaptable and has changed from being an “Outside” dog to an “Apartment” and we cannot imagine any living style she would not welcome.

We are desperately looking for a foster or ideally a foster to adopt situation, so that Autumn can get her wish and move into 2015 into her forever home.
She told us her wish for Christmas – wish I may, I wish I might, find a home by Christmas night.

Believe it or not but the Adorable Autumn is still seeking her forever home.

How about arranging a meet and greet this weekend and seeing for yourself just how sweet she is?

Please help by being a voice for the voiceless and downloading Autumn’s flyer to help spread the word for this sweet Angel
