SUBJECT: A new report from the World Bank–PAHO–Lancet Regional Health Americas Commission will be launched at a high-level event during the 62nd Directing Council of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). Titled No Time to Wait: Resilience as a Cornerstone for Primary Health Care Across Latin America and the Caribbean, the report presents five strategic recommendations to build resilient, people-centered primary health care (PHC) systems capable of withstanding shocks and protecting both lives and livelihoods.
