A man, age 41 of George Town, has been arrested and formally charged with Robbery, Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm with Intent to Commit an Offense, and two additional counts of Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm. The charges are in relation to a robbery incident at a commercial property on North Church Street, which occurred on 28 May, 2025.

He appeared in court on Monday, 19 January, and was remanded in custody pending a further appearance.

Update: Man Arrested in Relation to George Town Robbery now Formally Charged, 2 June

A man, age 36 of West Bay, who was arrested in relation to the robbery that took place at a commercial property in George Town, on 28 May, has now been formally charged with:

  *   Robbery
  *   Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm with Intent to Commit an Offense
  *   Two Counts of Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm
The man will appear before the court today, 2 June in relation to these charges.
