Traffic Advisory: Road Closures for Cayman Pride Parade, Sat 28 June
From RCIPS

The RCIPS is advising the public of the following road closures taking place on Saturday, 28 June, to facilitate the safe and orderly procession of the Cayman Pride Parade.
West Bay Road and adjoining routes will be subject to rolling road closures, implemented in five sequential stages. These closures will be in effect from approximately 4:30PM to 6:00PM in alignment with the scheduled duration of the parade.
The rolling closure will begin at the parade’s starting point at XQ’s Restaurant on West Bay Road, and progress in coordination with the movement of participants. Once the parade has safely passed a particular section, that segment of the roadway will be promptly reopened to vehicular traffic to minimize disruption to the public.
The parade route and closure stages are as follows:
Stage 1 – 233 West Bay Road (XQ’s Restaurant) to Lawrence Boulevard
Stage 2 – Lawrence Boulevard to Lizard Run Drive
Stage 3 – Lizard Run Drive to Canal Point Drive
Stage 4 – Canal Point Drive to Lime Tree Bay Avenue
Stage 5 – Lime Tree Bay Avenue to Seven Mile Public Beach entrance
Police barriers and signage will be deployed at key junctions and entry points to alert motorists and prevent unauthorized access to the active parade route. RCIPS officers will be stationed along the route to ensure public safety, direct traffic, and facilitate the smooth transition of closures and reopenings.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling in these areas on Saturday afternoon, and to heed all signage and instructions from officers.
