Sri Lanka – Antigua and Barbuda establish diplomatic relations

Sri Lanka and Antigua and Barbuda have formally established diplomatic relations following the signing of an agreement in Washington D.C.
The agreement was signed by Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to the United States, Mahinda Samarasinghe, and Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador to the United States, Sir Ronald Sanders, yesterday (Oct. 03).
The establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries will enhance the existing friendly relations and cooperation in the political, socio-economic and cultural spheres for the mutual benefit of both nations.
