The Honourable Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Elected Member for George Town
Central to ask the Honourable Minister of Planning, Lands, Agriculture, Housing &
Infrastructure
No. 7: Can the Honourable Minister say how many affordable houses have been built
in the last four years; and does the Minister intend to build any affordable housing in the
district of George Town?
The Elected Member for Red Bay to ask the Honourable Minister of Planning, Lands,
Agriculture, Housing & Instructure
No. 8: Can the Honourable Minister advise whether the work undertaken in 2023
&/or 2024 by individuals from the UK’s Department for Transport to support plans for a
modern public transport system has been completed, and if so, when will the findings or report
be made public?

No. 9: Can the Honourable Minister advise whether there are formal agreements in
place – including required timelines – between the National Roads Authority and utility
companies particularly, the two water companies, to ensure the full reinstatement of roads that
have been damaged because of repair works or other activities carried out beneath or along
public roads?

No. 10: Can the Honourable Minister provide an update on the Bimini Drive to Selkirk
Drive Connector Road, including any potential timeline for gazettal and paving of the road?

No. 11: Can the Honourable Minister advise whether the Government intends to
proceed with the ongoing work related to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for
the proposed extension of the Owen Roberts International Airport (ORIA) runway?

No. 12: Can the Honourable Minister advise whether the Government intends to
introduce reforms to public school governance that would both empower school principals
and leadership teams with greater management responsibility and provide for more direct
involvement by parents and business leaders?
