Ogier’s ‘exceptional’ Cayman team shines in Legal 500 Caribbean 2026 Guide

Ogier’s “truly exceptional” lawyers in the Cayman Islands have been recognised for their expertise in the Legal 500 Caribbean 2026 guide, earning praise for a depth of expertise, client focus and market-leading capability across multiple practice areas.

A total of 34 lawyers have been recognised for their expertise in Cayman law, including 14 Leading Partners and seven Next Generation Partners, with nine practice areas ranked.

Within Ogier’s Cayman Investment Funds team, James Bergstrom, Joanne Huckle, Justin Savage and Giorgio Subiotto are listed as Leading Partners, while Tim Cone, Gemma Cowan, Graeme Loarridge and Emma Sutherland are ranked as Next Generation Partners.  

Ogier’s “sophisticated” Banking and Finance team (the category also includes capital markets) sees James Heinicke, Mark Santangeli and Angus Davison all named as Leading Partners, with senior associates Jasjit Grewal and Marcus Hallan listed as Leading Associates. 

Feedback describes Ogier’s Dispute Resolution team as an “excellent team to work with”. Leading Partners Jennifer Fox, Marc Kish and Rachael Reynolds KC are joined in the rankings by Next Generation Partners Christopher Levers and Deborah Barker Roye. 

In the corporate and commercial category, Ogier’s “responsive, knowledgeable, connected and focused” team includes Bradley Kruger, named as a Leading Partner, with Cynthia Anandajayasekeram a Next Generation Partner. 

For regulatory and compliance, Joanne Huckle is ranked as a Leading Partner. 

In the trust / private client category, Ogier is praised for “the ability to break down complex issues to particular family concerns and how different offshore tools could help”. Anthony Partridge and Rachael Reynolds KC are listed as Leading Partners, with Deborah Barker Roye named a Next Generation Partner and senior associate Gregory Haddow a Leading Associate. 

Sophie Peat is a Leading Partner in Intellectual Property, with Ogier described as having a “deep understanding of trademark law”.

Within Real Estate, counsel Cline Glidden is named as a Leading Associate.

Additionally, partners Chris Wall, Natalie Bell, Gemma Bellfield, Shaun Maloney, Jessica Crawford and Kirsten Lapham, as well as counsel Jon Hughes and senior associate Jordan Constable, have been listed as Key Lawyers across various practice areas.  

Ogier has also been recognised in the foreign-based expertise category, with partner Richard Bennett (Leading Partner) and counsel Hannah Diss (Leading Associate), both based in Ogier’s London office, recognised for their expertise in issues under Cayman Islands law.
