SEC’s ‘$37M crypto fraud’ case against Bermuda’s Arbitrade and its principals starts on Monday

More than six years after it was exposed by OffshoreAlert, Bermuda-domiciled Arbitrade Ltd. will go on trial at federal court in Miami on July 28th, along with Canadian affiliate Cryptobontix Inc., and four insiders, Canadian Troy Hogg and U.S. nationals James Goldberg, Stephen Braverman, and Max Barber, in a civil complaint by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that they perpetrated a $37 million crypto-based investment fraud.
