New Book Release; “The Power of Light; The Deception of Darkness (God Desires You)” By Jonathan Piercy

From Jonathon Piercy

Here is the link to my new book, The Power of Light; The Deception of Darkness (God Desires You). https://www.amazon.com/Power-Light-Deception-Darkness-Desires/dp/1957497483. It was just released on the 31st March of this year. Attached is the media release. Aside from Amazon, the book can also be purchased in the U.S. through Barnes and Noble, Dove Christian Publishers, Walmart online (Walmart.com), and in the U.K. through Waterstones and Blackwell’s. It’s also now available as an eBook.

Like the apostle Paul of the Bible, I was on my road to Damascus, “kicking against the pricks” when I had a personal, deeply profound encounter with my Redeemer and Saviour, Yahusha Ha’Mashiach (Jesus).  My life has never been the same since. I am now a Bible follower who loves God with all my heart and work daily, on my personal salvation with fear and trembling. I claim my redemption through the precious blood of the Lamb, the Son of God, Yahusha Ha’Mashiach.

This book is in part, all about whether there is a God, and if there is one, who is He and what does He want with us.  Do we need Him? What is our purpose in life? Why are our lives so broken, and what can we do to fix it?

Although all of these questions have been asked and perhaps even answered many times before, this book is different in that every sinner’s experience is different in a nuanced way. Therefore, the message of salvation and redemption when expressed by each redeemed sinner, doesresonate differently.  Perhaps that is why we are all called to be lights in this world and ambassadors for the Kingdom of Heaven. Could it be that every person’s salvation is a roadmap for someone else’s deliverance?

This book is written from my perspective, but supported heavily through the use of the Bible. Though we all “…walk through the valley of the shadow of death…” we all experience a different set of circumstances as we journey.  Every person’s hell is personal and so too is every person’s salvation. This work emphasizes the importance of having a personal, intimate relationship with our Creator and Saviour.

While I don’t have a theology degree or background, I have been equipped with something far more essential: an obedient, God-filled spirit that gives me the courage to boldly speak against spiritual wickedness and deception.  I know evil intimately and have experienced its death grip over my life. Truthfully, I’m the one that got away.  However, it wasn’t my doing, it was the doing of God. “…Surely goodness and mercy shall follow [pursue] me, all the days of my life…”

I had a PhD in rebellion, but exchanged it for the gift of eternal life bestowed upon me from the Kingdom of Heaven.  I want to share this experience with others and provide them with the very same opportunity. “…If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Romans 10:9-11).

The entire world is seeking answers.  The entire world is beginning to see and feel that something isn’t quite right. It seems as though humanity is on a suicidal death march to the kingdom of annihilation and we are all in some kind of dark, nefarious trance.  Someone has to speak life over this evil, maniacal event; something has to cause us to snap out of this malevolent, hypnotic trance. I deeply believe that my book, with its world message and relatable examples, inspired by the Holy Spirit, is exactly what the world needs to hear.

But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God. (2 Corinthians 2:14-17NIV)
