Vibrant pageantry and the aroma of Caribbean spices in the air are just some of the delights that await you at Miami Carnival in 2025. The biggest celebration of Caribbean culture in the U.S., and one of the biggest in the world. This multi-day event combines the lively carnival traditions of Brazil and Trinidad with the beauty of Miami.
The vibrant weekend events culminate in the Parade of Bands on Sunday, a 12-hour parade that features more than 18,000 masqueraders in over 20 mas bands dancing freely to the pulsating rhythms. Every band will portray a different theme so expect a plethora of beads and feathers in a kaleidoscope of colors.
The festivities begin on October 4 with the Miami Junior Carnival followed by a Steel Band Competition on October 10, J’Ouvert on October 11 and the Parade of Bands & Concert on Sunday, October 12. Learn more here
