The liquidators of ‘fraudulently-operated’ China-based fruit products producer Amrita Global Development – which appears to be insolvent by US$63 million – have asked the British Virgin Islands High Court for permission to seek recognition in Hong Kong to pursue lawsuits against former executives Yang Ziyuan, Sun Xingyu, and Sun Lei and the firm’s former auditor, PwC.
