Let’s wrap up summer scam-free (part 1)

  • Protect personal information: Be cautious about sharing personal information online or over the phone. Only provide sensitive details to trusted and verified sources.
  • Secure your devices: Ensure your devices are updated with the latest security patches. Use strong, unique passwords and consider enabling two-factor authentication where possible,
  • Beware of phishing scams: Be cautious of emails, texts, calls or QR codes that direct you to suspicious websites. Verify sources before clicking any links.
  • Monitor bank statements: Regularly check your bank and credit card statements for unauthorised transactions. Report suspicious activity immediately to [email protected], call our call centre and freeze your card where possible.
  • Be wary of travel scams: Verify the legitimacy of travel offers that seem too good to be true. Book travel through reputable sites and agencies.
  • Use secure wi-fi: Avoid using public Wi-Fi for financial transactions or accessing sensitive information. Use a VPN if you need to use public Wi-Fi
