Large Quantity of Cocaine Found in Little Cayman

On Tuesday, 2 December, officers responded to a report that a large number of suspicious packages had been found on the shore off Guy Banks Road in Little Cayman. Officers responded to the location and recovered the packages, which were found to contain suspected cocaine. The packages were subsequently transported to Grand Cayman by the Air Operations Unit and placed in storage.
The total amount of suspected cocaine recovered is estimated to be about 30 kilos, with an estimated street value of over $150,000 CI. The drugs have since been destroyed
