ILO to launch the 2025 Labour Overview of Latin America and the Caribbean

LIMA (ILO News) – The International Labour Organization (ILO) will launch the 2025 Labour Overview of Latin America and the Caribbean, a report that analyzes recent employment trends in the region, with particular focus on recovery patterns, persistent gaps, and structural transformations in the labour market.
The report explores the main challenges facing the world of work in a context of moderate economic growth, highlighting issues such as persistent informality and unequal access to employment opportunities. It also includes analyses by country, age group, and gender.
The report will be officially presented on Thursday, 11 December.
