HM Queen Elizabeth II’s 88th Birthday Parade & Awards Ceremony, Grand Cayman

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 88th Birthday Parade & Awards Ceremony will take place Saturday, 14 June 2014, at 9.00 a.m. In front of the Legislative Assembly, George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.
Parade participants will include contingents from uniformed services and youth associations, as well as recipients of Queen’s Honours
Annual celebration of the Queen’s Birthday. There will be a presentation to previous honours recipients, an announcement of the 2014 recipients and Duke of Edinburgh scheme awardees.
The parade starts with the first Royal Salute in front of the Legislative Assembly Building. Persons who have been officially invited to attend this ceremony are reminded that they should be seated by 8:30 a.m. Dress is jacket and tie; hats are optional. Decorations and medals should be worn.
A prayer for The Queen will be offered followed by the singing of the national song, Beloved Isle Cayman.
The parade will conclude as soon as the Governor, HE Mrs Helen Kilpatrick sand her party depart, and the parade participants march off.
Dress code is business attire.
