| As part of our continued commitment to enhancing security and user convenience, we are excited to announce that from August 7, 2025, Biometric Authentication will be available with Online Banking and our Mobile App.Biometric Authentication, once enabled, provides an additional layer of verification during online transactions made with your Visa Debit or Credit Card when we need to further authenticate the validity of your purchase. Once your authentication is received, we will allow the payment to be processed. What is Biometric Authentication?Biometric Authentication is a security process that verifies a user’s identity using their unique biological traits, such as fingerprints, facial recognition, or voice recognition. It’s an alternative to traditional authentication methods like one-time passwords (OTP) verification. |
| Types of Biometric Authentication: For Android devices: Use fingerprint recognition to validate online transactions. You must first set up your fingerprint in the device settings and in Online Banking and our Mobile App. For Apple devices: Facial recognition will be the method for authentication, once you have set up face ID in your device’s settings and in Online Banking and our Mobile App. |
