Caribbean Culture Fund Announces Third Call for Proposals with USD 400,000 in Grants

une 4, 2025 — The Caribbean Culture Fund (CCF) has launched its third call for proposals, offering USD 400,000 in grants to support cultural and creative projects across the region. Individuals, organizations, and institutions are invited to apply by June 15, 2025, via the Submittable platform. 

This third call expands eligibility to projects from Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, Suriname, and in recognition of the severe challenges currently facing the creative sector, Haiti is also included for a second time. 

Funding will be awarded under three themes:

• Art for Change: Ten grants of USD 10,000 each for projects using the arts to drive social reflection and change.
• Caribbean Collaboration: Ten grants of USD 25,000 each for projects promoting intra-Caribbean cooperation and artistic exchange.

The third theme is for grants for short-term creative residences and fellowships, which are open to institutions across the entire Caribbean. Ten grants of USD 5,000 each to support short-term artistic residencies within the region.

“Our residencies and fellowships programme is designed to build stronger networks across the Caribbean’s rich cultural landscape,” said the CCF Executive Director. “By supporting artistic exchange, we aim to deepen collaboration across language and national boundaries, and strengthen the region’s creative sectors.”

Eligible disciplines include visual arts, performing arts, festival arts, film, literary arts, interdisciplinary forms, architecture, and design.

“With this third call, we are continuing to work our way around the region to learn the priorities of creatives and cultural institutions from the countries and sectors we serve. With our new grants for residencies and fellowships, we are expanding our support for Caribbean collaboration, creating more opportunities for reflecting on our shared history and cultural expression,” shared CCF Executive Director, Kellie Magnus. 

Applicants are encouraged to submit clear, feasible proposals that thoughtfully connect objectives and budgets, and to consider implementation challenges.

Caribbean Culture Fund Opens Applications for USD 50,000 Residencies and Fellowships

June 4, 2025 — The Caribbean Culture Fund (CCF) has announced a call for proposals for Residencies and Fellowships. CCF is offering ten grants of USD 5,000 each to support short-term residencies that support creative and cultural organizations in the Caribbean to invite creatives from other countries.

Cultural institutions and/or institutions with residential capacity located within the Caribbean are eligible to apply, including countries neighboring the Caribbean Sea and Latin American cities with strong Caribbean historical connections. The call aims to foster creative exchange, collaboration, and innovation among artists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.

Priority will be given to established residency programs and cultural events that promote the participation of Caribbean creatives from different linguistic groups. Funding may be used to cover airfare, accommodation, artist stipends, and interpretation services. 

Selected creatives must participate in at least one public event during their residency and one virtual event co-hosted by the CCF. Residencies may last between one and six weeks, depending on the proposal and budget.

“Our residencies and fellowships programme is designed to build stronger networks across the Caribbean’s rich cultural landscape,” said the CCF Executive Director, Kellie Magnus. “We want to change the idea that an opportunity for immersion means leaving the region. There are incredible opportunities within each of our countries from which artists from other parts of the region can benefit.”

Applications must include an institutional profile, a detailed description of the residency program, a budget breakdown, and a plan for artist selection, community engagement, and evaluation. Submissions will be accepted via the CCF Submittable platform from May 15 to June 15, 2025.
