Cayman – Urgent: Help Save a Member of our Team – ‘Octavia Chikukura, is in acute liver failure’

From Polar Bear
One of our cherished team members, Octavia Chikukura, is in acute liver failure. Octavia, a loving and hardworking widow who is the mother of three children, has become an integral part of our Polar Bear family.
She is currently in the ICU on a ventilator. Doctors have advised that she needs an emergency liver transplant to save her life. Unfortunately, this life-saving procedure cannot be performed on Island, and she must be urgently transferred overseas to a specialized transplant center.
Her immediate needs are:
- Emergency overseas medical transfer
- Liver transplant surgery
- ICU and hospital care.
Outside of insurance coverage, the additional costs of her life saving care is estimated to be $200,000 USD — far beyond what her family can manage alone.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to donate, we kindly ask that you share this message to help us reach others who may be able to help.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your prayers, kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Your Polar Bear Family
