Cayman: Stuarts Humphries Awards Scholarship to Serita Welcome

Serita Welcome, Scholarship Recipient

Serita Welcome, a young Caymanian who joined Stuarts Humphries as a Marketing Assistant in September 2024, has been awarded a place at Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom, with support from the firm through a scholarship contribution towards her studies.

The firm is pleased to support Serita as she takes this next step in her academic journey.

Managing Director Chris Humphries said Serita has already shown great dedication and enthusiasm during her time at the firm, adding: “It is a privilege to help her take this next step in her journey.”

Megan Wright, Partner and Head of Corporate, who leads the firm’s Early Careers Programmes, added that Serita’s success reflects her hard work and ambition. “At Stuarts Humphries, we’re proud to play a small part in helping young Caymanians build the skills and confidence to succeed,” she said.

Serita expressed her gratitude to the firm, sharing that working at Stuarts Humphries has given her “valuable insight and hands-on experience”, which she will carry into her studies. She added that she is “truly thankful for the support and encouragement I’ve received from the team, and excited to take what I’ve learnt here and build on it.”
