Police are investigating a motor vehicle collision that took place yesterday, 8 March, shortly before 10:00PM, near the Yacht Drive along Esterley Tibbetts Highway.

When police arrived on location, one vehicle, a Honda Fit, was found overturned on the roadway. The driver of the vehicle was assessed and transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The collision involved a second vehicle, an Audi, which was still present at the location. However, the driver of that vehicle left the location prior to the arrival of the police.

Police are encouraging the driver of the Audi to visit the nearest police station as soon as possible to assist with the investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who was travelling in the area between 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM, or who may have footage of the collision or the vehicles involved, is asked to contact the Traffic and Roads Policing Unit at 649-6254.
