At about 11:20AM Sunday, 23 June, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of a shooting incident at an address on Watercourse Road, West Bay. One man was found unresponsive at the location and has subsequently been pronounced dead.

The man has not yet been formally identified. However, the family of a suspected victim have been notified, and are being supported by a trained Family Liaison Officer.

The investigation into the incident is underway and two men, ages 38 and 45, both residing in West Bay, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody as investigations continue.

A Major Incident Room (MIR) has been opened to support the investigation and police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact the MIR at 649-2930.
