From RCIPS

Just after 11:00PM on Wednesday, 10 December, police were dispatched by 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of an armed robbery that took place at a convenience store in the Mount Pleasant Road area of West Bay.

It was reported that a masked man entered the store with a machete and demanded cash. He was unable to gain access to the cash register, but fled on foot from the location with other items taken from the store. No one was injured during this incident.

The incident is being investigated by the police, and detectives are encouraging anyone with information to call the West Bay Police Station at 949-3999.
